Camping at Kubu Island
We have 14 camping sites at kubu Island, all with a long drop toilet and a rock fireplace. Please book at kubu.island@botsnet.bw
Simple camping rules for eveyone:
Fire wood: please bring your own firewood; alternately firewood is available from the guides at Kubu Island at reasonable cost.
Garbage: All garbage must be removed when you leave Kubu Island, for those travelling north dumps are in either Gweta or Nata, and those travelling South the dump is in Mmatshumo village. Please help us keep Kubu Island clean!
Kubu Island is a place of great natural beauty and a Nation Monument, we ask that you respect this by not driving on the Pan, there is one road which circles the island, please say on it. The selfish actions of one or two individuals will degrade the experience for everyone! Anyone found to be disregarding this simple rule, will be fined and ejected from Kubu Island.
